Information Security

Security starts with defined access, protected integrations and a documented operating scope.

Access appropriate to each role

The platform design includes organization, branch and team roles and permissions. Review each user’s access during setup. Do not share a single account or integration credentials between employees.

Protecting integration credentials

The platform includes encryption for WhatsApp channel credentials when encryption keys are configured. A product capability is not independent proof of a particular production configuration. Settings are reviewed before activation.

Hosting and private servers

Hosting, storage location, isolation and backup requirements are defined in the service agreement. If your organization requires dedicated servers, request written confirmation of availability and scope before subscribing. This page does not confirm that all accounts run on dedicated servers.

Confidentiality

Information protection requires defining who can access data and why, and limiting sharing with external providers to service needs. No system guarantees absolute confidentiality or security. Review the privacy page and your organization’s requirements with the team.

Before activation

Identify the account owner, authorized users, required channels, storage location, retention periods, deletion and recovery procedures, and incident contact. Request those details within the service scope.

Secure, familiar payments

Availability at checkout depends on the methods enabled in the merchant’s Tap account.
